Black Friday is a shopping day for a combination of reasons. As the first day after the last major holiday before Christmas, it marks the unofficial beginning of the Christmas shopping season. Additionally, many employers give their employees the day off as part of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
This year, Black Friday and Cyber Monday land on November 27 and November 30, respectively. After the on-going Holiday Dash event, Amazon will officially kick off their Black Friday sale on November 20 with discounts on tons of products including Amazon-branded goods.
From a $100 smart TV, Apple Watch savings, home DNA test discounts, etc. here are some of the best Amazon and other black Friday 2020 deals available now.
But before we get into that there had been early black Friday deals that are sold out or expired for now but might possibly become available again during this period and we have a list of some of the very best of them below:
Early Black Friday Deals That Are Sold Out or Expired For Now
If ever there was a time to tune out the world, it’s now. (Because, you know, election, pandemic, murder hornets…) Sure, there are newer over-the-ear noise-canceling cans from Sony and even Bose, but this perennial favorite was great when it came out and it’s still great now especially at this price, which rivals the lowest we’ve seen. The original list price $350 but now goes for $100 on Amazon.
Kohl’s isn’t technically having a Black Friday sale, but we’re tossing this in because it’s a great deal on an item every kitchen needs. Score the beloved Crock-Pot for just $25.50 with promo code SAVE15. This model has lid clamps for easier travel.
So you get to save $15 with code. Take note that shipping isn’t free, however, unless your cart hits $75. But you can pick it up in-store and bypass shipping altogether.
Watch your favorite shows in all of their 4K glory with this 65-inch 4K set. The TV features a voice remote for easy navigation, built-in Chrome cast and Google Assistant. To see this deal, you’ll need to join the free My Best Buy rewards program, and be logged to be able to save $250 on device on the best buy platform.
This midrange Pavilion is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 5 4500U CPU, a 512GB SSD and has a 1,920×1,080-pixel display. It also features upgraded B&O speakers and weighs 3.9 pounds. You get to save about $160 as it was initially at $539 but now goes for $339 at Walmart.
Although they were $5 less last week, this is still a solid deal. Air Pods Pro are all about the noise canceling: These in-ear ‘buds block outside noise better than just about any other product on the market. They’re also great for calls and offer an excellent transparency mode. Going for $200 on Amazon you get to save about $49.
Pro tip: Use your Amazon Prime Rewards Visa card to get 5% back on this purchase. Don’t have that card? If you’re a Prime subscriber, grab it and score a $100 Amazon gift card.
Walmart will also be offering the Air Pods Pro for just $169 on Nov. 25, by the far the best price to date. If you’re not in a rush, it’s worth rolling the dice to see if you can land that deal.
Amazon, Walmart, Costco and other stores were offering $99 AirPods, the lowest price on record, but for the moment that deal is gone. In its place: $129 AirPods on Amazon. Do keep in touch as all signs point to the $99 AirPods coming back so you get to save $30 if this does eventually happen.
The Wyze Cam Pan is already a steal at $38, but this deal (which is available today only) gets you out the door for a little less. Wyze’s Cam Pan is a remarkably full-featured security camera, especially considering its low price.
This smart home security camera does all the things: night vision, two-way audio, motion detection and more, plus it give you free cloud storage (though you can use a memory card if you prefer). This model can pivot a full 360 degrees on its base, meaning it’s suitable for whole-room security.
Amazon is following Target’s lead with a “buy two, get one free” gaming sale. Fair warning, though: A lot of this stuff has been picked over, so the good stuff is going fast. You get to save up to as high as $60 on this deal.
In CNET’s hands-on tests, they found AncestryDNA to offer the best integration of DNA analysis and historical research. And now the service is on sale for more than half off.
Discover your DNA story with their easy-to-follow instructions. Simply activate your DNA kit online and return your saliva sample in the prepaid package to our state-of-the-art lab. In roughly six to eight weeks, your results will be ready online.
Target is discounting both new Apple Watch models starting Sunday, Nov. 15. While Amazon has yet to match the Series 6 markdowns, the discounts on both SE models have returned.
The Apple Watch SE comes in silver, gold, and space gray in an aluminum finish, with no other color options like the Series 6 has, but you can spice up the look with different band options. Save about $49 on this device as it recently goes for $260 on Amazon.
Though it’s matched at (and sold by) Best Buy, you can score this $100 smart TV from Amazon if you prefer. Powered by Amazon’s Fire TV UI, it includes a voice-controlled remote with built-in Alexa smarts. The screen resolution tops out at 720p, but that’s totally fine for this size.
8. 23 and Me Health + Ancestry Kit: $199 to $100
If you’re just looking to learn about your own genetics and traits in an easy-to-read format, or are looking primarily for health information, I’d go with 23andMe.
Unlike Ancestry, 23andMe does have FDA approval as a risk screener for a handful of genetic conditions and diseases — if you’re primarily interested in DNA testing for this purpose, 23andMe is the better choice.
This is only the third time this kit has been priced this low. It’s an insanely popular item, as its great not only for checking your ancestry, but also for identifying potentially serious health issues. Save about a $100 on this deal as it currently goes for $99 on Amazon.
TCL is best known for its Roku TVs, for this price you can just buy a Roku Streaming Stick Plus, attach it to this TV and still come out ahead. Aside from its smarts, we expect this 4-Series TV to perform “good enough,” just like the Roku equivalent.
It goes for $249 from its earlier $399.99 but can also be gotten for $200, to get this price (which is $50 below where it was previously), you must be signed in to your My Best Buy account.
LED-powered indoor gardens to the rescue for your garden and herbs in this coming winter period! There are lots of these on the market right now, some pretty pricey. This is an unusually good deal on the AeroGarden Harvest Elite Slim, which supports up to six seed pods and comes with a starter heirloom-salad seed kit.
Note that you must be signed into your My Best Buy account to see this price.
Lenovo’s premium two-in-one, the Yoga C940, boasts a sturdy and sleek all-metal design and a touch display that can rotate 360 degrees into tablet mode. It includes an active pen and can also instantly wake from sleep, one of the phone-like features it received courtesy of Intel’s Project Athena.
This configuration features a 14-inch display with a 4K resolution powered by a 10th-gen Core i7 CPU, 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD with 32GB of superfast Optane memory. A similarly configured Yoga C40 on Lenovo’s site works out to $1,650, so this deal is even better than it looks. And it already looked good.
Note that you must be signed into your My Best Buy account to see this price.
Save up to $120 on this device on Walmart. You don’t have to spend hundreds to add some automation to your house cleaning. The Eufy RoboVac 25C can be controlled via a mobile app or by voice with Alexa and Google Home. It’s smart enough to differentiate between floors and carpet and can avoid stairs automatically.
Black Friday 2020 is shaping up to be a very different kind of shopping experience than any holiday shopping weekend in recent memory. With ongoing inventory issues due to the extended global pandemic, not to mention the need for retailers to maintain a safe environment for customers and employees, it’s likely that there will be no throngs of expectant customers lining up for hours ahead of massive doorbuster sales. In fact, a number of stores will be closed on Thanksgiving this year.
Also bear in might that as products and consumer purchases go, some of these items may likely be unavailable soon while others that were unavailable might come right back to be purchased on any of your preferred online platforms. I do hope you get the best deal for the products you are looking to buy in this black Friday period.
